We have watched La Veta Village become much more than just a dream and a vision of Jeanne's, but through tons of hard work and dedication it will soon be a reality and an incredible addition to our community! We have been amazed at all you have accomplished and awed by the amount of time and energy that has gone into this effort. We applaud you all for sticking with it even when the going got rough and we, the Oktoberfest Committee thank you for the many things that you have done to help less fortunate people in our little community with your grocery shopping/delivery service and your free food box distribution.
Please come to our Oktoberfest celebration so that we can publicly acknowledge and thank you for your efforts. The announcement will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Jeanne, without you none of this would have happened. We especially hope that you will be able to make it and come forth on behalf of your group and that you might share a few words with us.
